Niceness is a folk pop album that features whimsical lyrics and melodies. Kim O'Connor is the songwriter, singer and player of mandolin, guitar, piano, keyboard sparkly sounds and the kazoo. Her husband Joe O'Connor plays the bass, guitar and is also an amazing filter and delay wizard. Jim Bove is the lead drummer and percussion stylist. Niceness also incorporates the use of various public domain recordings that will make you feel like you're sitting in a breezy forest or on a ship out at sea.
Niceness features special guest performances by Lewis Ames (guitar and trombone), Ethan Lee (pedal steel guitar), and Al Volmer (piano) from the Melatones, Vivian, Dimitri Seals (violin) from the Rocking Chairs, and Marc Brown (drums) from Humboldt Squid.
