Biography

Nick Karvounis started his DJ career in Greece in the early nineties. It was the time when acid, house and electro where fresh underground sounds, crossing over the international dance floors. The DJ culture was rising all over the world and "House Music" was it's major influence. Since the early days of house he began playing in local clubs and hosting various venues. His musical influences came from artists like Brian Eno, Kraftwerk, Adonis, Lil' Louis, Farley "Jackmaster" Funk, Todd Terry, New Order, Jean Michelle Jare, Frankie Knuckles, Juan Atkins, Derrick May, Giorgio Moroder, Cerrone and Kevin Saunderson. Playing music was his greatest passion since he was a kid while listening to disco and Pop in the mid eighties. Today he shares the same passion for music, currently living in the UK and Greece playing at clubs and venues across Europe. Recently he established his own record label in London called "House Chart Recordings", releasing his latest tracks and remixes.
