Biography

The voice, the sound of Nigel Soyer has been impacting lives through his testimonies put to music. This producer/songwriter was born in the beautiful Caribbean island of Trinidad where his passion for music grew as a boy. In 1990 Nigel became one of the founding members of "Highest Praise" a local gospel group that would soon be the best male group in that region. Nigel's passion to fulfill his God given destiny brought him to do his first solo project “I Am Here” which was released in Trinidad in 1994 and in Canada in 2004. This CD entered both the gospel and main stream music charts in Trinidad and Caribbean, with the title song going to #1 on the Caribbean Music charts. To advance in his career Nigel attended the Gospel Music week in Nashville Tennessee where he met and spoke with gospel greats such as Marvin Sapp, Donnie McClurkin, Anointed, Kurt Karr and many others. Nigel has shared the stage with gospel greats such as Kirk Franklin, Ron Kenoly, Commissioned, Shirley Caesar, Helen Baylor and Cece Winans in Toronto, Canada with his vocal talent also being used on Alvin Slaughter's release “Rain Down”. Nigel's new release "You in me" sincerity gives a true look into the heart and the love that he has for God, which shines through with a transparency in every song he writes, produces and performs.
