I’’m enjoying every single song on their newest album. From the Gallery was great, this one is even better

Making way for Copper Wasp from their previous record. If you take all Phoenix tracks you can sort of make a playlist

Yeah, of course you can just put together the songs that fit and listen to them in ascending order, leaving out all the other stuff. I'll have to try that at some point :) I just think it's really interesting how their whole discography can feel almost like one long piece of music with the connected parts in between albums if put in the right order. That is dedication to a rather small detail in their music that I appreciate a lot.

listening to the part from Karma Wheel where you hear the same sounds they used for their teasers on social media was like having a puzzle piece falling into place. fucking stoked

they're dropping a single this Thursday (7/20). I already dropped a deuce in excitement so it evens out.

FTGOS was released in 2018 and I still haven't come across anything like it. I don't have enough vocab to describe it even.

all 3 members of this band, individually, are already striking musicians. add this to the fact that they've been creating music for a little over 10 years (if I'm not mistaken) and you'll get a very rock solid group, with lots of potential. ever since they've released From The Gallery of Sleep, I've been anticipating their next release, which is sure to blow my mind just as this album did. 10/10 human beings, 10/10 band.

Revisiting after 3 years and I can say that Gallery of Sleep is pure masterpiece. Need a new album that's for sure.

Discovered them like two weeks ago. My mind is blown. Everything fits so well with what I look for in this kind of music. First time i fell in love with a bands whole discography since deftones.

I just watched a jazz drummer react to a Aric Improta playthrough of "copper wasp". I'm hooked. Now streaming the album on spotify and jumped on this web site for the first time in a long time to see what people here are saying. This is some of the sickest shit I've heard in a long time.

I didn't like "Into the Vanishing Light" mostly because of the vocals but "Gallery of Sleep" is amazing.

they seem to know exactly how to find the right rhythm and push the right buttons, respectively, as if they've been at home with combining technical skills, catchy melodies, groove and atmosphere with each other for quite a while, but no, it's their first instrumental album..., and I'm absoluty blown away by "from the gallery of sleep." as a former post-harcore band, they maybe have what a band like animals as leaders lack: the courage to show emotions and to put them into music instead of showing skill massacres.

From the gallery of sleep is one of the best instrumental records i’ve Ever heard

How something can be so technical and busy but never cluttered, and so refined and precise yet organic... Also completely original. I'm legitimately blown away by From the Gallery of Sleep, the songwriting, technical ability and production are all some of the best I've heard all year

Their work with and without Doug has been stellar, really psyched for these guys and the reception the new album is getting

From the Gallery of Sleep is one of the best instrumental rock/metal albums I have heard in a while. It's always a good sign when you don't think: ''this needs some vocals''. Russian Circles has that quality, Animals As Leaders has that quality. They don't need vocals. I don't know another band that sounds like Night Verses at the moment. That is a great feat in 2018, because it seems that everything has been done in music.

Band has completely blossomed without a singer. Most engaging instrumental music I've heard in years.

idk if you'll dig the stuff they did with Doug, but you should definitely check it out nonetheless. Best to work yourself backwards through their discography imo. You can start at the other Phoenix tracks, they're about as epic as Levitation and give you a good picture of their sound at the time.

Yep, first impressions tend to prevail. I'm a heretic that discovered them only because of the instrumental EP, and really enjoyed that sound.

I agree they sound great with vocals. Lift Your Experience is one of the best albums I listened to lately. But they sound awesome instrumental too and I have no doubt that new album is gonna be blast.
