Biography
Non Ethos was a music project of Haerleif Langas (most known from bands like Northaunt and The Human Voice) focusing on experimental atmospheric soundscapes. Non Ethos started around1997 and made a few self released albums like : a tape named "Pain, Emptiness, Noise" that was a mix of noise and death industrial, later a mcd named ASA-DIN, a experimental soundwork made entierly of sounds from old cameras, later he made the cdr album Labyrinth that was a one hour track moving slowly from northaunt like organic soundscapes to almost noise and collage like soundscapes. In 2000 he released "hidden structures, lost places" limited cdr on AFE records, this album was more drone based and dark, a trend continuing but more experimental on the album "Syk Asfalt" that was made sometime between 2000 and 2003, but released in 2007 also on AFE records. Appart from finishing "Syk Asfalt" Non Ethos has been a dead project as Haerleif focused on Northaunt since around 2003 .
