Biography
NOCION was formed on 2001.The band is composed by: Marilyn Jimenez (vocal) , Cesar Romero (Guitar), Alfredo Hernandez (drums) and Alexis Blas (bass ). Nocion has grown over the years of being together and found a unique sound that distinguishes them. Nocion's music is a fusion of hard , alternative and nu metal. Their music speaks from the heart and their lyrics are universal, written in Spanish and English. Some of their influences include: Tool, Sepultura, Skunkanansie, Doro, Deftones, The Ramones, Perfect Circle, Slayer, Messuggah, just to mention a few. Over the years Nocion has played with various renowned artists from the Latin gender like: La Ley, Juanes, Molotov, Circo (from Pr.). Nocion's goals are to expand their horizons and bring their music to different places and give the best of them at all times.
