Biography
Octonomy is the solo project of Brooklyn-based sound artist Heidi Lorenz. On her FAKTOR debut The Tetramorph, Octonomy confidently strides between droning Industrial shoegaze and moody post-punk ballads complete with brooding synth basslines and empyrean vocals.
Fans of early industrial powerhouses like Jarboe and Anenzephilia or contemporaries like Chelsea Wolfe and Zola Jesus will find a rare animal in Octonomy. Lorenz can deliver cavernous anthems that will find themselves comfortably taking residence in your mind for weeks on end without relying on the tropes of genre.
