Biography

The music collective ODZ consists of three guys from southern Stockholm. The name ODZ is an abbreviation of "Original Dunder Zubbis". They have been releasing music since 2015 when they released their self-titled project Original Dunder Zubbis. ODZ has been described as everything from a "scandal group" to gangsters, mostly because of their controversial song lyrics, where they often talk about drugs.

At the beginning of their career, they gained a foothold on the underground scene among graffiti painters and skaters - but soon became big on the country's hip-hop scene. Since their debut, they have made themselves known for popular tracks such as "Anna Book", "Helt Crack" and "Maddafakka".

The members of the collective have long chosen to keep their identities anonymous - and instead go by the name Edward Smith. The very name Edward Smith, came by chance. The fact that they chose to be anonymous is, however, an active choice - to create interest from the listeners: “If you're anonymous and don't show your face, people will be interested. It creates music.” told ODZ in an interview with Göteborgs-Posten from 2017.
