Olisbos is not less, not more, a band!
With the exception, perhaps, of taking up claim to have the great talent / feature of not usually taken each other seriously, to sometimes hate each other, and in some way love each other for that reason.
To spend many years’ weekends exclusively with the same old people is not always easy. The relationship with a woman is a sandpit adventure in comparison.
Frustration and pleasure merge to one element that alters our ways of perception through sound and that reflect reflect it in the melodies, verses, and refrains of our songs.
The most beautiful aspect of the symbiosis of a band is that sometimes through all those diverging opinions one loses sight of all seriousness and tunes in to each other again and than miracles happen that we consider our music. On stage we then are this something that we have named Olisbos. Everything melts together and responding to the state of the mood the songs take a much too sudden end or protract.
Always, however, its well worth seeing and recommended to have seen.
