One Dimensional Man is a power trio hailing from Venice, Italy comprising Pierpaolo Capovilla (bass, vocals), Carlo Veneziano (guitar) and Dario Perissutti (drums).
After releasing three albums which gained critical acclaim One Dimensional Man chose Ghost Records to release their best record to date, “Take Me Away”.
One Dimensional Man combine precise dynamic passionate song passages with powerful exploding guitar parts. The guitars are fast one moment, soft melodic and beautiful the next. The singer screams out the lyrics as if he’s pouring his soul into every single word that comes out of his mouth.
“Take Me Away” shows clearly that the band has a lot of talent, as One Dimensional Man succeeds in mixing punk-rock urgency with haunting pop melodies.
When the band takes the stage it really seems at ease; it is incredibly powerful and loud and sets off an unforgettable show: furious guitar playing, precise drumming and profound bass lines.
The band has played live as a supporting act with the likes of Blues Explosion, Blonde Redhead, Deus, Cows, The Melvins, Giant Sand and many others and it is the band to catch live right now.
