One Without (Official)

ONE WITHOUT was formed by Joonas Niskanen (guitar) in the early spring of 2003 in Gothenburg, Sweden.
In March 2005 OW entered “Studio Fredman” in Gothenburg/Sweden to record their first 4 track demo called “Lonely Moments”.
The band entered the studio 2007 once again and recorded the EP entitled "Soul Rehab", containing 5 songs. This time Joonas had built his own studio called "AUDIO G8 STUDIO" and they handled the whole recording by themselves.

In August 2007 Kenny Boufadene joined the band as a bass player. The song “No Spinning dice” was released as a single and music-video in September 8th that same year.

OW decided to record a full-length album, this was also to be done in “AUDIO G8 STUDIO”. The recording session started February 2nd 2008.

The recording was planned to be finished within a few months, but the band had to face reality, and decided to go separate ways with the former guitarist/singer because of his personal problems which inflicted on the band and made it impossible to complete the recording. OW immediately started to search for a new Singer and it didn’t take long before they found Catrin Feymark, and she re-wrote all the lyrics and melodies in a short period of time.

OW recorded a new song called “Whispers of the Voiceless” which would represent the new line-up until the album was finished.

The band recieved alot of attention world-wide both by fans and media, with very good response. In the first weeks the band had over 400 plays a day with only one song on their profile (Whispers of the Voiceless). The whole recording session have been available on the internet with video studio-reports on Youtube and Myspace.

In the end of 2008 the bass player Kristofer Bergman joined the band as Kenny switched to guitar, and the last piece of the puzzle was in place.

The album was finished in December 2008 and the material was handed over to Mattias Wänerstam (WITHIN Y, AVATAR) to get mixed. It was then mastered by Dragan Tanakovic at BOHUSSOUND (IN FLAMES, EVERGREY, MUSTASCH etc.)

OW currently has over 2000 plays a day at their myspace.
