But after hearing how she's retiring I'm just now hearing how much of a c*** she was to venues, other bands, recently last year she punched a studio manager for doing a soundcheck. To think, I used to worship the ground that Otep Shamaya walked on. Youth is a Helluva drug! Some of their older stuff is pretty good, though. They also were a tremendous live band back in the day. Too bad she is just the absolute worst when it comes with interacting with fans and being an insufferable jerk about her views.

I really don't understand how this band came to get such recognition, they are one of the worst nu metal bands to ever exist. If you compare them to other bands of the same genre you'll see how their riffs are boring, like they put no thought when writing their songs.

Sad to say but this new song is very indicative of the temper tantrum of Otep when Trump won. Bashing a bunch of her fans because they supported Trump, i didn't vote for the orange buffoon (didnt vote Hillary either) like everything else i manned up and moved on. Apparently Otep has her underwear in a bunch over Trump and childishly wrote a song about him. The music wasn't bad but the 6th grade lyric writing that makes Slipknots first few albums mature in comparison is horrible. Otep is such a hypocrite.
