Biography
Out Of Coma was formed in 2008 by Sergey Savrasov (guitar), Ivan Ponomarev (drums & percussion) and Michail Lynov (bass).
The band was projecting by their formers in 2007-early 2008 while Michail served in the Army. In the spring of 2008 guys started the rehearsals. At the same time Michail Haustov (old friend and ex-bandmate of Michail Lynov) was invited to be the second guitar player. Throughout 2008 the band rehearsed and wrote first 4 songs.
In the late spring of 2009 Michail Haustov left the band by the personal reasons. In the summer of 2009 Eugene Savrasov, brother of Sergey Savrasov, joined Out Of Coma as sound engineer and helped with arrangements of the songs.
In August of 2009 guys found their first vocalist – Arthur Loskis joined the band and sung with it until the middle of the autumn. Then guys understood that this person doesn't fit their musical material and preferences, that was the reason Arthur left the band.
The end of the November was marked as the the time when Out Of Coma finally found its voice represented by Pavel Koptev who sings with the band in nowadays.
In the December of 2009 Out Of Coma recorded their first song “Time” (“Время” in Russian). The song was included in the “Koma Fest Tribe Vol. 1” CD, issued by St. Petersburg independent label “Mass Culture”. In the winter of 2010 guys work in the studio on their next two songs “Deepness” and “F1-01”. “Deepness” finally was mixed and mastered in the summer of 2010 and “F1-01” is still waiting for its release.
The spring of 2010 has become the opening season for the band – Out Of Coma had several gigs in Voronezh. In the summer of 2010 the band was the participant of the "BeZformat Fest" in Lipetsk where Sergey Savrasov was awarded as “The Best Guitar Player of the Festival”.
In the nowadays guys write new songs and work on the new material. In plans there are several concerts in the autumn of 2010 and recording of the band's epic song “Out Of Coma”.
Out Of Coma – is a high quality music, it is the melting pot where you can find the fusion of rock, pop rock, art rock, hard rock, funk, progressive rock and progressive metal. The main reason of the existence is to create music, which can blow you away to the distant horizons of reality and surreal world of emotions, feelings, self-knowledge and perception of the world as we see it… Out Of Coma sends you to the long musical journey, welcome aboard!
