OUTERSITES was created in 2001 after an electronic jam / exhibition soundtrack @ old truman brewery east london with Rafael Toral and João Paulo Feliciano, for the purpose of keeping the sound material developed in that session alive, and continuing on the lab work on sonic explorations. — OUTERSITES I was about spaces (other spaces), avoiding narrative, exploring the ambient possibilitys as a definer of a site (place). — OUTERSITES II was about mass and texture, developing a lexicus of sound materials, experimenting with the pulse concept (human body movement). — OUTERSITES III was about joining two possibilitys, the body dance and the mind dance, also the audio nerve and the optical nerve, also the deconstruction of the rythmic particles and the buildup of minimal melodies. — OUTERSITES IV will be.. — www.ruigato.info
