Biography
Lindsay Dodd and Matthew Buckley are PAD, a two-man songwriting/ singing /production team based in Doncaster and Leeds (UK). They have an eclectic range of songs in the Pop/Alternative genre.
Lindsay has a very successful career in high quality TV productions, has been BAFTA nominated as a film maker and has won a string of awards. He started his musical career as a soprano in the local church choir in Burnopfield County Durham where he won awards. His biggest musical venture was the film Speleogenesis where he, (with Sid Perou ) assisted in the shooting of the film and produced (with a group called Nomusic Ltd). the soundtrack of the film. The film "Speleogenesis" won the Chicago Internation Film Festival Documentary award in 1981 and a string of other International awards. The film will be available online shortly.
Lindsay also achieved fame in the 1970's by breaking the World Record for walking backwards. Not only did he gain entries in the Guiness Book of Records but also raised a substantial ammount of money for various charities.
In the late 1990's Lindsay achieved recognition by travelling to Chernobyl in the course of his work in Television and was priviledged to spend a great deal of his life studying and filming remote tribes in 4 different continents. All of these projects were multi-award winning. He also pioneered covert or undercover film making in the UK and in his spare time today gives lectures as "The Real Life Q".
Currently Lindsay writes lyrics and assists in the production of musical ventures
Matthew is a classically trained pianist, has re-mixed a Britney Spears track (which was released), worked with the Ballet Rambert and created music for BBC Radio productions.
