D>E>A>T>H>M>E>T>A>L is the debut EP from the band Panchiko, originally released in 2000. There was no official release of the EP upon its creation and very few copies were made. A CD of the EP was found many years later by an anonymous user on the 4chan board /mu/, in which the user shared the album in full. It had a heavily-compressed, distorted sound due to the original CD-R of the EP suffering heavily from data rot. No other information about the album or Panchiko existed online prior to this post, but many became infatuated with the album and were determined to find the members of the band. On February 16, 2020, one of the members of the band, Andy, now working a sound engineer, remastered the EP along with another EP of Panchiko's, "Kicking Cars", and released them on Bandcamp.
