Biography
Kontrapunto (Counterpoint) is the music collective of youth artists' organization Panday Sining (Art Blacksmith), formed in Manila, Philippines in 2020. The collective consists of various Panday Sining members across the Philippines, releasing two EPs: Kontrapuntal Vol. 1 (2020) and Kontrapulis (2021).
Members of Panday Sining not only create art pieces but hold educational discussions and mass mobilizations, as well as facilitating grassroots organizing and workshops. The organization aims to create art as a medium for progressive expressions of national democracy.
