Papá Changó was born on December 4th, 2005, as a band that fuses reggae and ska with Latin rhythms such as salsa, merengue, cumbia, dance hall and others, creating an innovative proposal.
Their 11 talented musicians have managed to merge their knowledge and their unique exhilarating rhythm allowing them to become one of the most representative bands of ECUADOR, their homeland.
Their first album called “CAMINANTE” (Wayfarer) was produced in Argentina and Miami and it included the participation of well-known and internationally recognized musicians such as Mario Siperman (Fabulosos Cadillacs), Akila Barret (The Wailers), Pablo Molina (Todos tus muertos).
