Biography
Everything about Paul Ameixas & Os Bicho-Grilo is a mystery. Many versions about his biography were written and sometimes leads to contradictions, so is difficult to say something about his life.
Part of his work is still lost, so until today is possible to find unpublished recordings and unusual appearances. We know that his recordings are usually live and recorded directly from the first take without post production.
Os Bicho-Grilo was the support band and his followers. Among them was Flavinho Nogueira and Antônio de Mariz, artists recognized by their respective solo careers.
He is one of the (or THE) precursor of MIB (Brazilian Unpopular Music).
The MIB is a musical genre that is the Bandido Gravaciones's specialty, record label responsible for bringing his work to the public.
