"We formed in 2004 as a band playing what later we called: “d.i.y. fastcore punk”.
Band is formed and organized in city of Timisoara, Romania, Europe.
(the ideas):
"Building a real DIY Hardcore/Punk band project and Supporting Do It Yourself Scene in Timisoara and Romania."
"Supporting radical ideas, self-organized and anti-authoritarian projects, which could lead to building up of alternative ideas/struggles/lifestyles in Timisoara/Romania/World. "
"Support making of a Punk/Hardcore movement in Romania that is DO-IT-YOURSELF, that has more to do with IDEAS, ACTION, FREEDOM than with: apathy, fear, ignorance, submission, intolerance."
(the project):
Pavilionul 32 was never a band, but a project. 'the project' was to play fast hardcore/punk, promoting radical ideas, bringing a radical critique to the things and situation around us and around the world. Also, to put in practice the ethics and ideas of the D.I.Y. - Do It Yourself movement: a self-organized radical critique and action for a free-er world!
(the members):
This is why changing of members was never a problem. We never think this is a band of 4 people. We were playing and promoting a style of music, a style of organization and a set of ideas…
FUCK YOU if you think we should have stopped when the first 'original member' went away!
As some old, fat & bald guy said: 'you can't kill an idea!'. This is why we will always come back!"
(the list):
still, here is the 13 people working, screaming, sweating, partying and fighting (or not so much) last 7 years for the creation of a DIY community in Timisoara / Romania:
Tavi, Keetee, Punko, Seba, Sebi, Narcis, Lube, Mircea, Titan, George, Coacaza, Suciu, Tripi.
(the releases):
Band released 9 audio materials (estimated over 2000copies altogether distributed). All records were released by our own DIY "label" Gluga Neagra aka Black Hood Society. Trying in all parts of the "production" of the materials, to make all work ourselves, and when needed help - to take it from other friends like us, not go pay fucking companies/managers/labels to "produce" our "rebellion".
(the concerts):
Band played over 270 concerts. And with its 7 European tours, manage to become the punk/hardcore band with most concerts outside Romania.
In Pavilionul 32 we organized by ourselves (or with friends!), alone without any ("specialized") help the: booking, car renting, equipment, driving etc
(the sound):
The band was mixing intencionatelly or by mistake different influences comming fom DIY hardcore/punk scene… be it hardcore, punk, fastcore/powerviolence/grind, crust. Since some years band is using "d.i.y. fastcore punk" in order to define their style."
