Born in Sligo, Ireland, Pearse McGloughlin’s debut album 'Busy Whisper' offers beautifully haunting songs of forgotten moments and quiet reflection. Dreamy and atmospheric, ghostly but tender, Busy Whisper explores the themes of memory and longing, and has an organic aesthetic reminiscent of Grand Salvo or Red House Painters. Its release was critically well received.
In November 2010 he released a collection of four songs called 'Twine'. It can be downloaded from http://pearsemcgloughlin.bandcamp.com/
Also noted for using Irish language in his songs, McGloughlin released 'Ag Ól ag Ól ag an Garbhóg' a co-write with songwriter Enda Reilly in June 2011.
