Peter Fox, born Pierre Baigorry, is a Berlin-based musician known for his work in dancehall and hip-hop. He is one of the two lead vocalists of the German dancehall group Seeed.
In 2008, he released his first solo album "Stadtaffe," which included the singles "Alles Neu," "Haus am See," and "Schwarz zu blau." The album achieved significant commercial success and remains one of the most successful albums in Germany. It was initially planned to be written in English with contributions from Cee-Lo Green, but due to Green's commitments with the project Gnarls Barkley, Fox decided to perform the album himself in German.
Following the release, Fox embarked on a tour that was accompanied by a live concert-film DVD. In 2010, he announced a return to Seeed and stated he would not continue his solo career.
In 2023, Peter Fox released his second solo album "Love Songs," featuring the singles "Zukunft Pink," "Vergessen wie," "Weisse Fahnen," and "Ein Auge blau." The album reached number one on the German charts, though it did not match the commercial success of his debut.
He has also collaborated with various artists, including Sido, K.I.Z., and Miss Platnum.
