Petrus Castrus was a progressive rock band from Portugal that released two albums, Mestre (1973) and Ascenção e Queda (1978). Mestre was banned soon after its release for controversial lyrics speaking against the current establishment. The album is now regarded as a highly influential underground progressive gem.
