Biography
Phan “The Konnect Man” has become one of the most explosive MC’s of our generation. He began his love for music at an early age when his father would play old school records, such as Marvin Gaye, Boosie Collins, Zapp and Roger, The Gap Band, and so many other legendary artists. It was not until meeting one of his late great friends, the Legendary “Vocab”, that Phan found himself composing and free-styling his own music and rhymes in his head. During his early years of music, Phan really did not let too many people around him, and since the seventh grade he has been on his grind to reach his goals, and not letting anyone or anything stand in his way. After his tenth grade year a lot changed for Phan and at this time he was dealing with a lot of family problems, and this is what made Phan start to write down the stories of his life in front of people and everywhere else he could. At this time a lot of people started to notice the many talents in which Phan has, with the main talent being, having the ability to anything well, which made it difficult for him to decide on which talent to focus on to make a better life for him and his family. Soon after beginning his college career it was not long before Phan became a well known artist around his college campus, challenging anyone that said that they could rap, it was also at this time that Phan wrote down his first rhyme. During his sophomore year in college, he came to the conclusion that music was the one talent that would aid him and making a better life for him and his family, which meant he could now concentrate on his purpose. Also during his college career he met his group T.W.D.W. (Which has now become the brand name of his label), T.W.D.W. which is an acronym for Team Work makes the Dream Work started out as two core members and soon grew to four members, shortly thereafter. T.W.D.W. spent years doing shows from state to state, and then decided to start working on their separate solo projects. It was at this time that Phan decided to take his music career to the next level, with the help of his in house producer/business partner, and a few other helping hands. Phan relocated and began recording a number of tracks from day to day, working towards his goal of having his musical ideas to being heard in the masses, in order not to miss out on a potential intrigued listener. Along with his relocation Phan has met and shook hands with numerous celebrities, and people that have helped him get closer to his dreams, the list includes, Lil’ Jon, Magno, O.J. da' Juiceman, Gorilla Zoe, Yung Joc, Jody Breeze, D4L, Fly Guy Vito, Usher, Jazzy Jeff, Terrance Cash, S. Paul, X.O., Killa Mike, Bizarre, J-Money, Cutty Cartel, Crime Mob, Looney Tunes, Shawn Wayans, just to name a few. The Konnect Man has recently started a new Entertainment company by the name of We.R.K. ent. (We R Konnected). We.R.K. ent. Consist of four main artists/business partners, Phan “The Konnect Man”, Trel “Da Trilla”, Big Babby “Tha College Kid”, and J.T. by way of Ghetto Boy Entertainment and affiliated with many more, stretching from Atlanta, Texas, Louisiana, Chicago, St. Louis, Florida, Kansas, Virginia, Alabama, Los Angeles, Arizona, Nevada (Las Vegas), New York, Colorado, New Jersey, Ohio, Kentucky, Australia, Memphis, Mississippi and Oklahoma, with music in all of locations. Phan has also recently released music via the internet into Germany, United Kingdom, Brazil, London, Canada, Mexico, and many more locations around the world. With his grind alone The Konnect Man has set his foot print in stone and taken all the necessary steps to becoming one of the greatest MC’s of all time.
