Phantómódel is the solo project of Maxine Juno Sinclair, based in Richmond, Virginia. Heavily influenced by classical music and avant-garde scenes of the 1980s, Phantómódel's sound brings a clash of post-punk, new wave, and opera. Lyrical themes confront human relations to capitalism, death, abuse, patriarchy, gender identity, and mental illness.
