- 3. An italian band.
1. Pinkerton is an indie-rock band with a song-driven format, founded and based in Córdoba, Argentina.
The band was created in 2010 by Martín Tuda, a former member of the band Ironía. Driven by a need to explore new sonic landscapes, he started an acoustic solo project, which gradually expanded as new members joined, eventually forming the current four-piece lineup.
Fiesta del Medio Otoño, the band's fifth album, features a more aggressive and distorted sound than its predecessors while maintaining the band's signature direct and no-nonsense songwriting style.
Pinkerton emerged in 2010 during the Belle Epoque activity series El Ciclón, which sought solo performers. Rising to the challenge, Martín recorded his first EP, La Forma en que Destruyes las Cosas, marking the project's starting point. Over time, the project grew, additional members joined, and new releases followed.
The band has shared the stage with several prominent artists from the provincial and national music scene, including Juani, Indios, Francisca y los Exploradores, Norma, and Benigno Lunar, among others.
