"The Holy Mountain" is likely based on the 1973 film of the same name, in which a Mexican master leads a figure resembling Jesus Christ and other disciples to a mountain of immortal wise men, as well as a biblical quote in which God refers to heaven as his "holy mountain". In an interview with Gigwise, Poppy stated that "it's a message to people who have been ignoring signals and hopefully it inspires people to pay attention to the higher consciousness. You're given one life and one chance.
