Pripjat, founded in 2011, is a thrash metal band from Cologne (NRW), Germany.
Two Band Members (Kirill and Eugene) actually come from Kiev, Ukraine. That explains the Band Name (Pripjat is the ghost town near to the Chernobyl Nuclear Plant).

If you have not heard this sentence before, you missed out on a band that has shaken up the German underground in the last couple of years unlike any other thrash-combo. Hailing from Cologne they earned their excellent live reputation year by year, stage by stage - relentlessly giving 200% at every show.
The Band plays a fresh version of the good old thrash - everything goes, as long as it kicks ass. And it does!
