Biography
Promessa is what you might call an experiment just waiting to happen. The four members have been friends for some while and have been playing together in different constellations but never before like this, all four in the same band.
The four musicians all have different vibes and influences and combine them together in a sometimes monstrous mix between psychedelic low-key rhythms and flares of distinct rage.
The outcome is live recorded improvisations taking place in the basement of an underground music studio outside of Gothenburg, Sweden. The music sessions might reach from 1-2 hours to 4-5 hours depending on the mood of the instruments and the people holding them. Instruments used are drums, electric guitar, electric bass guitar, electric organ and all kinds of percussion.
The voice of Promessa:
"Promessa is a sporadic project, it exist in it's true form only when the four of us is together down in that basement, talking, drinking and expressing us as a foursome through our instruments. The rest of the time Promessa basically doesn't exist, only in our heads, evolving as we change as persons and as musicians. No recording session is like any before. It's kind of a new band every time we come together."
