Driven by haunting melody and monkey-level intelligence, here comes the Puppypet (パピーペット), a cute and silly band headed by twin female vocalists, two female lead singers hopping around. They scream when they feel like it, and comfortably sing in harmony. The level of their energy is totally unpredictable but uniquely pop. To describe in words - "a moshing bambi lost in overdrive sound". One of the vocalists Sachi, who grew up taking lessons of Koto and Shamisen (Japanese traditional instruments) writes songs that are somewhat nostalgic but yet punk. On the other hand, the other vocalist Tomo often plays cheap but lovely-sounding keyboard-harmonica. They confess, "We're simply playing songs we happened to make. So we don't have a clue when people try to label us as pop or punk". But their cute looks, sense of catchy melody, and loud blasting rock sound make PuppyPet such a groovy band.
