Biography

Putnam String County Band was an American folk band that featured Abby Newton
(Vocals, Cello), Jay Ungar (Vocals, Fiddle, Guitar, Mandolin), John Cohen (Vocals, Guitar, Banjo, Mandolin), and Lyndon Ungar (Vocals, Guitar, Jew's Harp). They released the album "Home Grown" in 1973.
