Biography
Lisa Lee Artist of the Written and Spoken Word, and 2-time Boston Music Award recipient (Rap/Hip Hop category) has deep roots in the art of performance. For over 20 years Lee moved crowds of many cultures and backgrounds with her colorful and insightful use of words, and impactful cadences. With these same qualities Lisa Lee moves crowds today, with her Spoken Word. Lisa Lee's well rounded style is born out of a combination of city life, early exposure to the arts, various cultures, and professional training. It is from these experiences that Lisa Lee draws, to deliver her Spoken Word with an 'Uban, King James, Shakespeare-like' eloquence. Current projects include The Flow Show on WTCH, Touch 106.1 FM Radio, every Sunday 4-6PM…Spoken Word recordings with such titles as, 'By The Light of The Ghetto Moon'…'Imagine The Battles That Rage'…An on-going anti-domestic violence informational drama, 'Rising From The Ashes', and a derivative in the form of a one woman show.
