Los Angeles, Ca Rahten5Star is a Puerto Rican and African American hip hop artist out the streets of Los Angeles, Ca. He was raised in Mid City Los Angeles. Being from mixed background he was fortunate of witnessing and being involved with the meshing of two cultures in the urban communities. He has slick flows and an aggressive beat selection. He is companied in hip hop by the HoodCats, and in partnership with A.P.L.S. and Nuai. With these affiliations he carries a follow that is what he calls To Be Continued. His most common quotes and catch phrases are: ” Action, Blunted, Geah, Ha haaa, and Its RahtenRulez on this one!”, witch remain a distinct way of capturing his audience. Also with some conscious make you think tracks, Rahten5Star has taken hip hop back from the media exploitation and mixed it with Los Angeles, sarcastic punch lines, harmonic flow, and some spoiled to the bone life techniques. Rahten is a cat from the hood that is all about the action and focuses of seeing things with new eyes. His Puerto Rican and African American heritage and all his life experience’s are something to listen to. Grandson of the legendary latin jazz percussionist Willie Bobo, and nephew of Cypress Hill fourth member Eric Bobo.
