Front man Travis Warren grew up in Amarillo, Texas and is the son of two professional guitarists. He relocated to the Central Coast of California in 1997 at the age of 17 to officially start his professional music career. It wasn't long before he met his future band mates playing in local clubs…….. Rain Fur Rent Project started as an acoustic side project in late 2002. Its humble beginnings were first seen in local coffee shops. Calling on other aspiring artists in the area, the group took off.
Their sound is a diverse example of modern and classic styles including rock, electronic, and acoustic finger-picking style music that has the maturity of musicians that have been playing music their whole lives.
