"Streets of London" is a song written by Ralph McTell. It was first recorded for his 1969 album Spiral Staircase but was not released in the United Kingdom as a single until 1974. The song has been covered by over 200 artists.

This song is about being homeless in London, and about how the world forgets about the people who are down and out, it just shows how the human race will stereotype the likes of tramps, not wondering, whether or not they have lead fulfilled lives, when actually one of the men in the song, appears to have served his country.
