1) Reencarnación is a black metal band from the city of Medellín, Colombia, and has been active for over 30 years. They have performed at various local and national venues and have shared the stage with international bands such as Sepultura, Coolblood, Carcass, Brujeria, Inquisition, and Whiplash, among others.
Their music since the mid-80s has been characterized by versatility and changes in each of their works, featuring elements of extreme metal along with interludes of hardcore and contemporary music. The band has influenced both national and international bands, including Mayhem. In addition to their music, their lyrics are known for their rebellious tone, rawness, and philosophical outlook.
2) Reencarnación is also a groove/thrash metal band from Chile.
