Biography
Rehan Dalal is a singer, songwriter and guitar player who has steadily been making a name for himself on the Canadian music scene. A natural born performer, he always bring a great energy to the stage. It is that very energy which prompted drummer Steve Jordan (Eric Clapton / John Mayer Trio) to describe him as “Really groovy” and Director of A&R for Universal Music Canada, Mark Spicoluk, to call him “Very compelling!”.
He has accomplished a lot in a very short time, having shared stage-time with the likes of Divine Brown, Big Sugar and David Ryan Harris; showcasing at Canadian Music Week in both 2010 and 2011; winning a Toronto Independent Music Award for Best Adult Contemporary Artist; and recently winning the LCBO Whisky Soul contest. Recordings from his demo-turned-EP ‘Traces’ have been receiving airplay, including on CBC Radio 1, and he is currently working on a full-length record with producer Justin Abedin (jackSOUL / Justin Hines).
