Biography
Mermaid, Renyu, 人鱼, Beijing-based Nu-Metal, Industrial band. The music style changed from industrial to Nu Metal. The lyrics have been a mixture between Chinese and English and besides heavy guitars and shout vocals they've experimented with violins, the piano and ethereal "chorals" like in "Chi You".
Yans voice is a passionated metal voice and a mixture between classical singing and shout vocals. Since their vocals return from the UK in 2006, Mermaid have renamed themselves into The Falling.
