There are multiple artists under the name Ricardo Silva:
1. Ricardo Silva Elizondo (February 7, 1954-February 7, 2021) was a Mexican singer and voice actor, most known for singing the theme songs to several anime and animated series, such as "Dragon Ball Z". He died on his 67th birthday due to complications from COVID-19.
2. Ricardo Silva, Portuguese guitar player. Between chulas and chants, waltzes and serenades, between peoples and accents, the history of the guitar is written.
Ricardo Silva, considered by many to be one of the new values of the Portuguese guitar, started playing guitar at the age of seven, influenced by his father, his first grand master. At the age of 14 he officially debuted as a guitar player.
He won the 1st prize at the Grande Noite do Fado in Lisbon, in the instrumentalist class in 2005.
His musical journey includes several special participations and collaborations with various artists: Mariza, Jorge Fernando, Marco Rodrigues, Paulo de Carvalho, Raquel Tavares, Fábia Rebordão, Ana Laíns, Celina da Piedade, Ala dos Namorados, Fafá de Belém, Anaquim, Sangre Ibérico, among others.
Live with his quintet, he presents us with a show based on the work developed on his two solo albums, "Semente" (2014) and "Contado à Guitarra" (2018).
