1) Richard James (born 27 March 1975 in Carmarthen) is a Welsh guitarist, bassist and singer-songwriter and the former bass guitarist for the Welsh prog-folk band Gorky's Zygotic Mynci. He performs and records as a solo artist, and as part of the bands Pen Pastwn and Locus.
2) Richard James is an English singer-songwriter from Devon.
3) Richard James is a New Zealand musician from Christchurch. He was songwriter in Mainly Spaniards and The Letter 5. In 2008, he formed The South Tonight with John Kelcher (late of Sneaky Feelings) and with other Christchurch musicians.
