Andy Warhola is right ! definitely one of the best electric blues guitarist around and Jackhammer Blues & Back to Blues are both "smoking hot" albums that nobody has ever heard of ! They dont know what their missing ! This guy still gets it done !

hmm, just been starting listening to Rick Derringer and his albums Back To Blues and Jackhammer Blues are certainly not crap. In fact I think he might be the best blues gitarist I've heard!

I wouldn't say "Sweet Evil" (1977) is crap. For example, just listen to "Sittin' By The Pool". The song rocks, his guitar work is incredible and the production quality is amazing. I think it was his finest work.
