Biography
Rick Farin is a multimedia artist and musician, known for his work at the intersection of live action, CG, AI, and VFX. He co-founded the creative studio Actual Objects with his partner Claire Farin. The studio is recognized for its avant-garde projects, working with prominent artists such as Yves Tumor, Eartheater, and Bad Bunny, as well as brands like MoMA and Nike.
Farin has also ventured into music, previously performing under the moniker Eaves, and is now releasing his debut album. His music, like the single "Sky Burn," blends unsettling soundscapes with visceral themes, often invoking feelings of anxiety and uncanny, futuristic imagery.
His work with Actual Objects explores radical new narratives, particularly focusing on the ways material and digital worlds can merge. Farin’s creative approach combines experimental music with visuals, creating immersive and unsettling experiences.
