...not only the best trombonist of early Jamaican music, maybe one of the few UNiQUE influental musicians of the 20th century. Some of his recorded works later generations after will listen to as classical entertaining music of the later 20th century in a way we use to listen to Ravel's Bolero today - while 1000s of U.S. Billboard leading music and else of today will be totally forgotten. ;-)

A real discovery, thanks to last.fm. Looking at his birth date, I assumed he was some primitive, early Jamaican artist. Found he was very easy to listen to, and then checked his biography. Fascinating that he's still playing with Jools. Clearly, a very interesting guy, and a very decent musician.
