Robin Kester (born 1989) is a Dutch musician, singer and songwriter born in Groningen but currently based in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. She makes a breezy, folky kind of dream pop. Her debut single, 'Lost For A Day', was released in June 2018.
Kester released two EPs (2018's Peel the Skin and 2020's 'mini album' This Is Not a Democracy) before her full-length debut, Honeycomb Shades, came out in February 2023. September 2024 saw the release of another EP, entitled Patch.
"Drifting between chamber pop, electronic music and psychedelic rock, Robin Kester’s experimental pop exudes a hazy euphoria and dark tension."
