Robin de Jesús (born August 21, 1984) is an American film and theater actor of Puerto Rican descent. He started his acting career at Crystal Theater a camp for the dramatic arts in Connecticut. He is perhaps best known for playing the role of Sonny in the Broadway musical In the Heights, for which he received a Tony Award nomination for Best Featured Actor in a Musical.

He joined the cast of the revival of La Cage aux Folles (starring Kelsey Grammer and Douglas Hodge) as Jacob, the sassy housekeeper. La Cage aux Folles opened at the Longacre Theatre in April, 2010, and he was subsequently nominated for another Tony Award nomination for Best Featured Actor in a Musical. He is openly gay and speaks to young audiences about fully accepting oneself. He starred as Steve in 2005's Rent, Sonny in 2008's In The Heights and Jacob in 2010's La Cage aux Folles.
