Biography
Romi Peles (born 23 June 1992) is a versatile Israeli musician, composer and record producer hailing from Tel Aviv. A multi-instrumentalist, known for his innovative fusion of classical and electronic elements, he is best known for his playing on the classical guitar.
Influenced by a diverse range of musical styles, including classical, fusion jazz, indie and psychedelic rock, Peles' musical journey began with his debut album, Old Scrapbook (2014), which offered a glimpse into his early compositions written for the classical guitar. Originally released in 2014, the album was re-released, reaching a wider audience, in 2020.
In 2021, Romi released his EP Walking Back, along with two singles, signaling the beginning of his journey into jazz and psychedelic rock. His second full-length effort, 2024's Digital Dystopia, delves into a sonic landscape of experimental psychedelia, enriched by elements of jazz and classical inspiration.
