Ruben and the Novelty Shack, born Ruben Rascon, is an American comedy artist. Coming from Texas, Ruben, who also goes by the stage name of Mad Genius, specializes in the art of parody. Known among fans for producing higher quality songs than similar artists, he takes pride in the quality of his vocals and his MIDI rendered instrumentals.
Although he has touched on a number of topics, he is most known to sing about real estate and swimming to the point of cliché.
