Biography
Born and raised in upstate NY, it is safe to say that Rugz is a product of his environment. With parents that initially despised rap music as a whole, the rebellious teenage spirit we all possess kicked in and there you have it; a rapper was born. He first began writing and recording jokingly around the age of fifteen with his friends on an old Korg four track. Not until about 2008 when he linked up with Papa Dukez and the rest of Cafe Ole did he begin to take music too seriously. As time went on and his skills further developed it became more apparent that only was this what he had a passion for, but he was actually quite talented. With witty wordplay, solid punchlines, and a flow unlike any other white boy in the game right now, Rugz and the rest of his Cafe Ole crew rose quickly to the forefront of the budding upstate NY rap scene. 2012 will be a big year for everybody involved, with a lot of projects and shows in negotiation.
