Born and raised in upstate NY, it is safe to say that Rugz is a product of his environment. With parents that initially despised rap music as a whole, the rebellious teenage spirit we all possess kicked in and there you have it; a rapper was born. He first began writing and recording jokingly around the age of fifteen with his friends on an old Korg four track.
