Biography
There are at least three artists called Rummet:
1) Stockholm, Sweden (2010 - present)
Consists of Erik Herngren, Henric Axéll and Karin Arvedsson. Formed 2010 in Stockholm. Has been described as bedroom synthpop, dreamy wavelayers combined with subtile melodies and lofi voices makes rummet what it is. A blend of eighties synthpop and shoegaze ambience.
2) There where also a band called rummet back in 1984, they released one full-length record on Massproduktion in 1985, Rummets clever keyboard-based pop met great interest in Sweden and after one album the charismatic vocalist/keybordesse Gina Jacobi left for a successful solo career.
3) There was also a swedish industrial/noise project called Rummet that appeared on a few compilation tapes in the mid 80's.
